The Platinum Crate contains fine Platinum Bullion from various mints from here in the United States and around the world. In all cases, small fractional (under one troy ounce) fine Silver Bullion may also be present. We use fractional Silver to make up any remaining dollar amount that may be leftover after we fulfill your crate with the biggest piece of Platinum Bullion allowed for your particular price tier. For your convenience, check out our Frequently Asked Questions page, as we have compiled virtually every inquiry we have ever received about our services and products.

Some common types of Platinum Bullion present in this crate are;

  • Platinum Coins from the United States Mint and other sovereign Government Mints are a popular choice. These include things like the 1 oz Platinum American Eagle (also available in ½ oz sizes), 1 oz Canadian Platinum Maple Leaf and Great Britain’s 1 oz Platinum Britannia which also come in 1/10 and ¼ oz sizes.
  • Platinum in Bar form is a cost-effective way to stack any Precious Metals, with low premiums and ease of storage. Some popular manufacturers such as Pamp SA, Valcambi Suisse, Credit Suisse, Johnson Matthey, Argor-Heraeus, Engelhard and Scotiabank produce Platinum Bars in a range of weights and shapes such as 1 gram, 2g, 5 g, ½ oz, 1 oz, 5 oz, and 10 oz.
  • Platinum Rounds, not as common, but 1 oz Platinum Engelhard Prospector Rounds do make an appearance on the fulfillment floor if our purchasing department can get them for a low premium price. These are getting into the collectors’ realms, however, so this feat is becoming more and more difficult as Engelhard has since discontinued their bullion programs.
