The U.S. Standard Crate contains Gold and Silver bullion produced from the United States Mint. Gold is not always present in the U.S. Standard Crate and will never be present in crates under the $250 tier.
The most common U.S. Mint products found in the U.S. Standard Crate is;
The 1 troy oz (31.103 gram) American Silver Eagle and is comprised of .999% Fine Silver. Each ASE is also backed with a monetary value of 1 USD. Generally, tiers that contain in excess of 10 or more ASE's will also come with mint direct tubes. Additional tubes, bullion and storage options can be added to your purchase and will arrive with your crate via our Fire Sale page.
The U.S. Mint Gold Bullion products that can be found in the U.S. Standard Crates of $250 or higher are;
The American Gold Eagle which comes in sizes of 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1 troy oz denominations and contains the manufacturer-specific fine Gold purity and weight.
The new 1 troy oz American Gold Buffalo which contains an impressive purity of .9999% pure Gold.
Additional U.S. Mint Silver Bullion products that can be found in the U.S. Standard Crates but are less likely due to popular feedback (and overwhelming popularity of the American Silver Eagle) from current subscribers are;
America the Beautiful 5 oz Silver Coins (ATB) in .999 Fine Silver. This is a recent introduction to the U.S. Mints Bullion lineup and is meant to commemorate the beautiful National Parks around the U.S.
90% Constitutional 'Junk' Silver will never be present in the U.S. Standard Crate. If you are interested in obtaining pre-1965 old U.S. currency that contains Silver, check out our new Constitutional Crate.
Non-U.S. Mint products and fractional Silver pieces may also be present. We use fractional Silver pieces in all of our subscription crate products to get your crate to the closest dollar amount possible. Fractional Silver pieces come from both private domestic mints and in rare cases international Government mints in the form of Silver Rounds, Coins or Bars. For more information on how we build each crate feel free to give us a call or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
